When to start

Count backwards from the day you need people on site. For a season starting in June, the safe window to begin is February-March: time for selection, registration, visas and travel. Starting 2-3 months before the need is the practical minimum - later starts are possible, but every week of delay eats into your peak revenue.

Some businesses need people for 5, 6 or more months. There is a seasonal regime for 3-9 months, but its procedure takes almost as long as the long-term route - which often makes Visa D for 1-3 years the better investment.
